The Rules

No body likes rules, but we've got to have some otherwise things could get wild. Sure, wild can be good, but we prefer calmness and orderly, and that's why we have some rules that we really would appreciate if you

1. BE ON TIME - one of the biggest annoyances for the host is lateness. If you're going to be late, let us know. We know sometimes time is out of our hands and some

2. RESPECT - People have different opinions about different things and that's what makes people interesting. It would be boring if we were all the same.Don't start criticising someone who doesn't think the same as you when it comes to things like cultures and religions. Accept it, respect it, and question it.

3. SWEARING - We all swear, and yes, swearing can express emotions very well, but let's try and keep all the language used in our sessions clean. If our topic is swearing, then no fu*king problem!

4. PAY - No money, no honey, or in this case no place on the English speaking course. Make sure payment has been made before we start.

5. NO RELIGION OR POLITICS - We will talk about everything, but these two topics we try to avoid unless it is the topic of one of our English speaking sessions. Don't ask if someone believes in God or what they think of Putin. Save that talk for another time. 

6. ENGLISH ONLY - This is an English speaking course because people want to SPEAK English, not another language. Stay away from your own language for 60 minutes. 

7. BE KIND - If someone uses the wrong word, tense, or mispronounces something, don't laugh. They are here just like you to practise their English speaking skills. It's easy to hate, but be kind, help each other. Everyone is in the same boat here, and if everyone is kind, it'll create a nice atmosphere for our English speaking course.

8. DON'T GIVE ONE WORD ANSWERS - You joined this English speaking course to SPEAK. It's understandable you might be nervous at first, but don't be. Everyone is here to practise their English speaking skills and giving one-word answers won't help. 

9. HAVE FUN! - Probably the most important rule. Enjoy our sessions together. If you're not enjoying it, get in contact and we'll try sort something out. We want you to have fun!

8 Reasons to sign up for an online English speaking course!

01.

SMALL GROUPS

Each group for the English speaking course is limited to 3 for adults, and 4 for teenagers and kids. These small groups make it ideal to get your speaking practice.

02.

TWICE A WEEK

Each group will study minimum twice a week. This will give you regular practise to help build on your fluency and confidence.

03.

DIFFERENT TOPICS

Each session is a different topic which not only keeps the conversation fresh each time, but it allows you to use different areas of language and vocabulary.

04.

NEW PEOPLE

You will join a small group of just 3 / 4 people and the native speaker host. You will get to know and speak with other people and find out about their lives. 

05.

NATIVE ENGLISH

The host of each session is from the UK, so you can be guaranteed that all the questions you will be asked and the language you hear is nice-natural-native English 

06.

NO CAMERA

While we will be on camera to introduce ourselves in the first lesson, we will then switch off our cameras to help us feel more relaxed and more importantly boost our listening

07.

FLUENCY

The only way to build your English speaking fluency is by SPEAKING and that's exactly what a speaking club does. It gives everyone the opportunity to boost their fluency.

08.

FUN

The most important thing is you should be having fun in each session. If you're not enjoying it, the host is doing something wrong, not you. If you're not happy, tell us.
